Coin Catching
By: Author Unknown
The old "put some coins on the elbow and catch them" trick.
Hold some coins in a stack between the first three fingers and thumb. Throw them in the air so all coins are in a line, each one edgewise to you and catch them all with a sideways sweeping motion.
Place two coins on the back of the hand, throw them in the air and catch each coin individually with a claw catch. Now try three or four. I can do three on each hand (throw them at the same time and do alternating catches) and four with one hand. Is it possible to do five?
Similar to the above but catch the first coin between the thumb and first finger (flatwise, or edgewise if your really tricky :-), the second coin between the first and second finger etc. This is really hard and helps if you keep the coins flat during the throw.
